丰台垒球场是北京奥运会第一个新落成的场馆。功能分区明确、组织流线顺畅、交通疏散合理、绿化环境优美、比赛条件舒适。建成之后是北京地区乃至国内较有特色的、具有国际先进水平的垒球场。

2008年8月成功举办第29届奥运会垒球全部赛事。

Fengtai Softball Court was the first newly built venue for Beijing Olympic Games. It is designed with clear functional zones, smooth organization flow, reasonable traffic evacuation arrangements, beautiful greening environment and comfortable competition conditions. After completion, it will become a distinctive world leading softball court in Beijing and even in China.

In August 2008, all the softball games of the 29th Olympic Games were successfully held in the court.
