原佛得角总统府建于1894年，是有百年历史的文化建筑。本次改扩建工程，对原有具有历史性价值的总统府主体建筑进行全面加固、修葺，并扩建行政楼和宴会厅等用房。从设计到材料选购和施工均从文物保护角度出发，保证了与原有建筑风格和装饰装修的统一协调，获得了佛得角政府的高度赞赏。

The former Cape Verde presidential palace was built in 1894 and is a cultural building with a history of 100 years. In this reconstruction and expansion project, the original main buildings of the presidential palace with historical value are comprehensively strengthened and repaired, and the administrative building, banquet hall and other houses are expanded. From the perspective of cultural relic protection, the design, material selection and construction ensure the unity and coordination with the original architectural style and decoration, which is highly appreciated by the government of Cape Verde.
