援巴基斯坦巴中友谊中心是集会议、展览、学术交流、文艺演出于一体的中、巴文化交流活动的重要场所。设计采用现代的建筑语言，表现两国源远流长的文化和友谊。建筑外立面主体采用5,247块975x975mm的镂空金属遮阳板拼接而成，铝板单元采用四联拼合的图案，组合出不同的解读方式，分别演化自伊斯兰传统装饰图案和中国古代窗格纹样。双层金属幕墙的设计和施工均攻克了众多的技术难题；其所创造的精致、优美和坚固的形象，恰当地表现了两国的文化传统和牢固的伙伴关系。建筑内部融入不同风格的庭院，适应当地炎热的气候特征。内外空间一气呵成，母题符号贯穿始终。

作为中巴友谊的历史见证，其新颖独特的设计使得本项目尚在建设期间就得到了两国政府及当地民众的一致肯定，成为当地的著名标志性建筑景观。2010年12月18日，随着温家宝总理和吉拉尼总理共同为巴中友谊中心揭幕，巴中友谊中心已成为巴中“全天候”友谊的新的象征！

The Pakistan Sino-Pakistan Friendship Center is an important venue for holding cultural exchange activities between China and Pakistan, including conferences, exhibitions, academic exchanges and cultural performances. It is designed to use modern architectural language to embody the long-standing culture and friendship between the two countries. The main facade of the building is made of 5,247 pieces of 975x975mm hollow metal sunshades, and the aluminum units use a quadruple combination of patterns that combine different interpretations, evolving from traditional Islamic decorative patterns and ancient Chinese window grids, respectively. Design and construction of double-layer metal curtain wall overcomes many technical difficulties; The refined, beautiful and solid image created by it appropriately embodies the cultural traditions and strong partnership of the two countries. Different styles of courtyards are integrated into the interior of the building to adapt to local hot climate characteristics. Interior and exterior space are written at one stretch and motif symbols are made throughout the whole building.

As a historical witness of Sino-Pakistan friendship, with its novel and unique design, the project has won a unanimous recognition of the two governments and local people during the construction period, and has become a famous landmark architectural landscape in the local area. Sino-Pakistan Friendship Center had become a new symbol of Sino-Pakistan "all-weather" friendship along with Premier Wen Jiabao and Premier Gilani jointly unveiled the Sino-Pakistan Friendship Center on December 18, 2010.
