粤北人民医院系列项目设计包括住院大楼、门急诊综合楼、肿瘤中心等建筑。设计以“总体规划、分步实施”、建筑可持续发展、降低能耗为总体原则，是绿色医院建筑和经济型医院建筑的典范。

设计强调功能系统设计的整体性，充分体现技术先进性与实用性的结合，实现医疗建筑流程合理、卫生安全、经济高效、环保节能，并强调“以病人为中心”的细节。由于医院地处经济相对欠发达地区，“利用较低投资，设计高品质的医院建筑”，是本工程设计始终追求的目标，也是本项目成功与否的关键。设计通过成本分析，以及运行费用、功能需求等多方面比较，确定实施方案；而在施工过程的各环节，严格按照设计图施工，使工程投资得以成功控制。

The design of Yue Bei People's Hospital series projects involves the inpatient building, the outpatient and emergency complex building, the tumor center and other buildings. The design follows the general principles of "overall planning with step-by-step implementation", sustainable development of buildings and reduction of energy consumption, which is a model of green hospital building and economic hospital building.

The design emphasizes the integrity of the functional system design, fully embodies the combination of advanced technology and its practicability, and realizes the process rationality, health and safety, economic efficiency, environmental protection and energy saving of medical buildings, and emphasizes the details of "patient-centered".  Because the hospital is located in an economically underdeveloped area, "using low investment to design high quality hospital buildings" is always the goal of the project design, and also the key to the success of the project. Through the cost analysis and the comparison in operating costs, functional requirements and other aspects, the implementation scheme of this design is determined; in each link of the construction process, the construction is strictly in accordance with the design drawing, so that the project investment can be successfully controlled.
