项目新建办公楼建筑面积2.15万平方米。设计以绿色、节能为使命，采用了多项绿色节能建筑技术，如屋顶绿化、太阳能光伏发电和热水系统、水蓄冷系统、智能照明系统、中水系统、雨水收集系统、光通道系统、幕墙遮阳百叶等。项目建设过程中最大的难点是场地异常狭小，无材料堆放场地和工人住宿场地，对项目施工组织带来了极大的挑战，施工过程中克服了诸多困难，顺利实现了预期目标。新中元大厦的建设和投入使用，极大的改善了广大员工的办公环境，体现中国中元积极进取、开拓创新的企业精神，也为公司的长期发展提供了有力的保障与支持。

该项目获得美国LEED金奖认证、北京市结构长城杯和北京市绿色安全文明工地。

Floor area of 21,500m² for newly built office building. With the mission for green and energy saving, the Project is designed with many green and energy saving construction technologies, e.g. roof greening, solar photovoltaic power generation system, chilled water storage system, intelligent lighting system, reclaimed water system, rain water collection system, light channel system, facade sunshade louver, etc. The biggest challenge for construction of the Project is the limited site, without the space for material piling and accommodation of workers, making it very difficult for construction organization. The construction teams overcame many difficulties and successfully met the expected targets. The new IPPR office building substantially improves the office environment of employees, showcases the corporate spirit of aggressiveness and active innovation, and also provides the strong support for the long-term development of the company.

The Project was awarded with LEED Gold certification (US), and Beijing Great Wall Cup for Structural Quality Evaluation and Beijing Green, Safe and Civilized Construction Site.
